Brethren, information pills
In our last stated meeting, VWB Scott Wells talked about his Masonic journey and the need to return to the basics.
In the same meeting, we voted to pass the following by-laws change:
- Article III, Section 4 to read: “The annual dues of each member shall be $100.00 payable in advance on the first day of January of each year.”
- Article III, Section 5 to read: “The annual amount levied by the Grand Lodge for each member under section 7.03 B.L. of the Washington Masonic Code plus the annual cost for each member’s subscription to the Masonic Monitor as provided by the Lodge shall be assessed to each member in addition to the Lodge annual dues. This lodge assessment is payable in advance on the first day of January each year. Members exempt per section 7.03 B.L. of the Washington Masonic Code are not required to pay this assessment.”
It is also noteworthy to mention that the School Awards Night held last May 21, 2012 was well attended and the Filipino Food Festival was a success.
