March 10th Pancake Feed Report

Our last pancake breakfast provided a chance for the brethren and their families to socialize. With full stomachs we moved upstairs to discuss issues that needed our attention.

The meeting after the Pancake Breakfast went well, with many points of view being discussed. The final decision by the lodge was for the larger Scholastic Award Package laid out by WB Elmer Lindseth being adopted.

In order to plot a clearer future course for the Lodge, the Worshipful Master declared that a Standing Committee will be created. Any member is welcomed and encouraged to join this new group. The primary purposes of the committee is to discuss the future direction of the Lodge, and implementing the Long Range Plan that was begun after the February Stated Communication, The open format of the group is designed to give all Brothers chance to share their views and voice their opinions.

The groups first meeting will be held on March 28th, at 6:30pm, in the Lodge Room of Alki Masonic Hall. Subsequent meetings will be held on the third Monday of each month at the same time.
