Stated Meeting starts promptly at 7:30pm. Potluck dinner at 6:15p featuring BBQ ribs, chicken, beans and sides, with strawberry shortcake for dessert. If you have a side dish you plan to bring, please do so. Please RSVP to the Junior Warden at rsvp@alki152.org so we may plan accordingly.
We are pleased to present Bro. Mac Macdonald of Eureka Lodge #20 and newly minted 32nd degree Scottish Rite, who is a nationally recognized corporate trainer and speaker. Mac will provide us knowledge of just what our participation in our Masonic bodies means to the world at large and to the communities we live in. He will be speaking off session so guests are welcome! The topic is: Your Masonic Impact On Society: Like a large body of water, your Masonic involvement is much wider, runs much deeper, and has far more impact than you think.
As we are dark in July and August I want to now bring your attention to our annual visitation with St. John's Lodge of Ladysmith, BC. We will be hosting the brothers from BC July 8-10 with a BBQ picnic planned for noon on Saturday, July 9, 2011. It will be held at the Alki Masonic Center rain or shine. This will also serve as our annual 4th of July Family Picnic this year. Notice no conflicts with other 4th of July events! Make plans accordingly and come down to provide a hearty Alki welcome for our sister lodge from up North.
