Brethren, This Wednesday July 22, 2009 it's Disaster Day at Alki! Join us for a presentation by the Red Cross beginning at 11:30 am. Help your self and your community by being better informed on what steps to take in an emergency. Literature will be available. We are also looking on the possibility of making Alki a place of refuge during a disaster. After the program Jane and I will take a tour with the Red Cross people and make that determination.
Come early for coffee and donuts! Hope to see you there!
WM Rick Dusatko
-- and from our Brother Martin Monk:
Dear Brethren,
I would like to extend an invitation to all to attend the Rainbow Girls' Installation, this Thursday night, July 23rd at 7pm at Alki. Shanae Simonson will be installed as Worthy Advisor. Her family does not have many Masonic connections, so I hope that we, as a Lodge, can show our support. As an added bonus, I will be installed as Rainbow Dad, so I could also use all of the support that I can get! There will be light refreshments following the ceremony.
Looking forward to seeing some of you there. Fraternally, Bro. Martin Monk
