Jacques de Molay will be visiting Alki Lodge
Alki Lodge # 152 presents at its September 6 Stated Meeting: Sir Knight Richard Kovak of Seattle Commandery # 2 performing the character of Jacques De Molay. This event should be of special interest to any DeMolay organisation.
This event is open to all masons and non-masons. It will begin at 7:30 PM.
Our Stated meeting will follow the presentation.
On August 13, 14 and 15, we will visit St Johns Lodge #21, our Sister Lodge in Ladysmith Canada.
We are proud of our school awards ceremony. It was well prepared by Bro Martin Monk, then enthusiastically received by the schools.
Our July 4th Picnic will be at Lincloln Park at noon.
At our June 21st Bikes for Books presentation we gave away bikes, which were of course received with enthuiasum. At our June 7th Stated Meeting. WB John Mulhall from St Andrews Lodge brought his passion for masonic education to Alki Lodge. He spoke on The Symbolism of the Enterered Apprentice Degree. Which was timely for our EA conferral two weeks later. Nonmason Brad Mitchell spoke on deep sea rescues in the early 1900s. Which included the drama of rescuing a top secret submarine at a depth of 400 feet. He even brought us an authentic diving helmet and lead boots to see and feel. Just as with WB James; an interest became a passion. Alki Lodge always appreciates visitors. We also enjoy receiving invitations. If you are hosting an event, please let us know.
