September Message from the Master

Brethren, this summer has definitely been an eventful one. Our lodge departed from our traditional “dark” period with the initiation of bro. Martin Monk. Additionally, we sponsored a golf outing that was very well attended.

Personally this summer has been busy to say the least. As many of you know I have been working as a Mortgage Banker for some time. This summer specifically and more generally this year has seen many changes in the industry. Although all is well now, I had a sustained period of uncertainty while sorting out issues in my professional life. Special thanks to all who offered assistance during this trying time.

The remainder of the year will be highlighted by community activities surrounding a Children’s Halloween party, coordinated assistance with a local Thanksgiving dinner and hopefully one of this lodges biggest X-mas parties this lodge has ever seen. Our next stated meeting will be held Monday October 1, 2007 at 7:30 pm, preceded by a pot luck supper at 6:15. The main dish will be provided by the lodge. The brethren are encouraged to bring a dish. As always the ladies are invited. I am looking forward to seeing each of you there.
